Absolutely! We're all ages and all backgrounds. We want this to be a welcoming space for everyone - whether you want to take part or just watch and learn.
Yes, of course. We're not a marching army - we're a community. Several of our group live with health challenges or disabilities. We adapt what we do so everyone can take part in their own way, at their own pace. Your contribution matters - not what you can't do.
Yes, please do! Come say hello at one of our get-togethers (posted on Facebook) or visit us at an event - no commitment needed whatsoever. See what we're about first, then decide if it's for you. No pressure, ever.
Not at All! We welcome everyone - start simple. a cotton tunic, sturdy shoes, and a smile is all you need at first. Build your kit gradually, at your own pace. accuracy matter to us - but people matter more.
head over to our Services page - there you'll see everything we offer, plus a simple enquiry form. Tell us what you need, and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
Real history. We portray the middle/high Viking age - researched, respectful, and accurate where we can be. No made-up worlds, no Hollywood versions - just the stories as they were lived.
We get together regularly for a catch up and meetings at our favourite pub - "our home from home." we also attend events throughout the year - check the events page for dates. We don't currently have regular training sessions, but we're growing and hope to soon!
Once a year - every October - we gather to look back at what we've done, plan for the year ahead, and make sure everyone has a voice. It's open to all members - your group, your say. Members of the public are welcome to attend but must allow members to have their say and the chairs will then open up for public ideas.
